Święto Wojska Polskiego
To święto narodowe obchodzone 15 sierpnia na pamiątkę pokonania armii Rosji Bolszewickiej (komunistów) w Bitwie Warszawskiej 1920 roku, jest świętem państwowym od 1992 roku, wcześniej było świętem państwowym w II RP do czasu władzy komunistycznej (1945).

The Polish Army Day
The Polish Army Day is a national holiday celebrated annually on 15 August in Poland, commemorating the anniversary of the 1920 victory over Soviet Russia at the Battle of Warsaw during the Polish Soviet War.
Armed Forces Day is held in conjunction with the Day of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary , itself a separate public holiday.

Zdjęcia zrobiłem w Warszawie 15 sierpnia 2022 roku.
Z powodu ataku Rosji na Ukraine brak było w tym roku defilady wojskowej.
Zamiast defilady wojskowej był pokaz orkiestr wojskowych.

Due to Russia's attack on Ukraine, there was no military parade this year.
Instead of a military parade, there was a show of military bands.
